Stark Electronic Instruments Ltd. Model 8-77 Micromho dynamic mutual conductance vacuum tube tester, made in Canada for radio and television service applications. The portable instrument is housed in a fitted carrying case with a hinged lid, handle and metal latches. The control panel incorporates a multiscale meter, tube socket panel, roller-chart tube data display, filament and element selector controls, and dedicated filament continuity, test, gas and shorts indicators. Published specifications describe 18 filament-voltage settings from 0.6 to 117 volts and three direct-reading mutual-conductance ranges of 0-3,000, 0-6,000 and 0-15,000 micromhos. The model also provides short, grid-current/gas, filament-continuity and reserve-cathode-capacity testing. Panel rating is 115 volts, 60 cycles and 75 VA maximum.
