An extensive French Limoges porcelain dinner and serving service by Gérard, Dufraisseix & Abbot, bearing the Ch. Field Haviland decorating mark. The white glazed porcelain is decorated with pale blue floral garlands and wreath medallions, green vines, muted lavender foliate accents, and gilt rims and details. Molded forms incorporate scalloped and lobed borders, relief scrollwork, loop handles, and shaped serving pieces. The service comprises plates, shallow bowls, cups and saucers, a covered sugar bowl, creamer, and assorted serving dishes. Undersides bear green GDA / FRANCE and red circular CH. FIELD HAVILAND / LIMOGES marks. The combined marks are consistent with early 20th-century Limoges production.
