Antique carved wooden curule-form vanity stool featuring high scrolling gondola-style ends and a woven cane seat set within a shaped central panel. The sides rise in a cradle-like curve, echoing Italianate and Neoclassical Revival influences seen in late-19th to early-20th-century decorative furniture.
The base is supported by elegantly curving legs joined by turned stretcher bars, with carved detailing across the apron and arm scrolls. The overall form resembles classical Roman curule seating, adapted into a compact vanity or dressing-table bench.
A sculptural accent piece suitable for bedroom décor, hall display, or antique furniture collections.
