Traditional Chinese hand-carved stone sculpture depicting a clustered arrangement of peaches, intertwined with finely carved leaves and branches. In Chinese symbolism, peaches represent longevity, immortality, and good fortune, making this a classic auspicious motif. Carved from fine-grained softstone using openwork (reticulated) techniques, the piece shows realistic detailing in the fruit, stems, and foliage. Mounted on an intricately pierced and carved wooden root-style stand fitted specifically for the sculpture. Stands approximately 7.5 inches tall.
