George Bungarda color print titled "Evening at Rick's," depicting Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, James Dean, and Humphrey Bogart gathered around a guitar-shaped diner counter. The detailed composition includes a red tailfin automobile suspended overhead, guitars, framed records, and other mid-century popular-culture motifs rendered in a saturated retro palette. Titled "EVENING AT RICK'S" and credited "PAINTED BY GEORGE BUNGARDA" in the lower margin. Presented under glass in a black frame.

ARTIST / CREATOR BIOGRAPHY
George Bungarda is an Oregon-based artist whose portfolio centers on watercolor and drawing. His subjects range across portraiture, cinematic Americana, architecture, maritime settings, wildlife, and figure studies, with recurring attention to narrative scenes and familiar cultural imagery. Bungarda's compositions often unite carefully staged figures with richly developed surroundings. Works titled "Legends Theatre," "Hollywood Drive-in," "Dirty Harry," "Downtown Long Beach High Rise," "Shipyard / Port Townsend," and "Warm Conversation" reflect a practice moving between popular culture, urban scenery, working waterfronts, and quieter human moments. This breadth gives his art a story-driven quality, whether the subject is an entertainment icon or an everyday place. Bungarda has also offered watercolor compositions as prints on acid-free rag paper using archival inks. His Oregon association and Pacific Northwest subjects place part of his artistic activity in the western United States, while his cityscapes and entertainment themes broaden the work into a colorful visual world shaped by nostalgia, architecture, and popular memory.
