Hand-crafted leather folk-art sculpture depicting a stylized male face with deep-cut features, long flowing beard, and an integrated female figure subtly carved into the beard's form. The piece is shaped from thick leather, molded and tooled to create dimensional facial contours and textured detailing. The top shows natural age cracking, adding to its rustic character.
This type of work is associated with regional artisan leathercraft, where sculptors create hybrid human forms and narrative imagery using molded hide rather than wood. A visually striking decorative piece with strong folk-art presence.
Type: Leather sculptural carving
Material: Molded and tooled leather
Design: Man's face with woman's body integrated into beard
Length: Approx. 12 inches
Condition: As pictured; age-related cracking at top
