Philco Model 9100 dynamic mutual conductance vacuum tube tester, made in the U.S.A. and produced for radio and television service work during the mid-1950s. The instrument provides a central analog meter, multiple tube sockets, a roll-chart data system, and controls for filament, grid, plate, screen, cathode, suppressor, bias, line adjustment, shorts testing, and micromhos ranges. Housed in a fitted black portable case with carrying handle, metal latches, hinged lid, and attached power cord. Period Philco literature promoted the Model 9100 for testing tube types ranging from subminiature receiving tubes through cathode-ray tubes.
