Shield-shaped wall mirror with carved wood frame featuring cream-painted and gilt surfaces in Rococo Revival style. The elaborate frame displays C-scroll sides, acanthus leaf decoration, and scrolling foliate motifs throughout. Topped with an architectural crest featuring crown-like element and cascading drapery swags. The lower apron includes centered shell or floral cartouche flanked by scrolls. Mirror plate shows age-appropriate silvering wear. The dimensional carving and two-tone finish suggest 19th or 20th century Continental or American manufacture. 25x45"
