Vintage Satsuma-style porcelain lidded ginger jar / covered urn featuring an ovoid hand-painted ceramic body decorated with intricate medallion and floral motifs in a traditional Japanese Satsuma or Chinoiserie aesthetic. The piece is mounted on an ornate metal (brass-accented) footed stand with a matching decorative finial lid, giving it a more elaborate presentation than standard ceramic jars.
