The successful bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling fees including any customs costs. The bidder is responsible to start the pickup/shipping process as soon as payment has been made. The shipping process will begin once all payments are finalized. The bidder is responsible to inform the auction house about their shipping arrangements.

Payment Details:
Upon completion of the auction, the credit card on file of successful bidders will be charged
automatically for the invoices under $1500 and an invoice will be emailed to each bidder.
All successful bidders enter into a binding contract and are obligated to pay in full for all
awarded items within 24 hours of receiving the winning notification email.
The auctioneer reserves the right to cancel a bid at any time, without prejudice.
Payment in person at the time of pick-up is accepted only with prior arrangement with the
auctioneer.

An 18% Buyer's Premium is added to the subtotal of the winning bid amount, plus 5% GST and
7% PST (BC).

1. Condition of Items
1.1 All items are sold on an "as is, where is" basis, without guarantees or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, whether or not the item has been modified.
1.2 Any catalogue, listing, or description is provided as a general guide only. No sale shall be invalidated because of any defect, error, or inaccuracy in a catalogue or description.
2. Bidding
2.1 By placing a bid, the bidder is deemed to have accepted the item as described and in its current condition.
2.2 Direct Auction reserves the right to cancel any bid at any time, whether before, during, or after the auction.
2.3 Direct Auction reserves the right to refuse any bid that does not represent a full increment over the preceding bid.
3. Payment
3.1 Each successful bid forms a binding contract between the bidder and Direct Auction.
3.2 Successful bidders must pay in full for all awarded items within 24 hours of receiving the winning notification email and invoice(s).
3.3 Please review our Payment, Tax, and Shipping information before bidding.
4. Sales Final and Refund Requests
4.1 All sales are final, including off-site purchases. No exchanges will be offered.
4.2 Where a refund may be applicable, the bidder must submit a refund request within 7 days of the auction date. Requests received after this period will not be considered under any circumstances.
5. Pickup and Shipping
5.1 Buyers are responsible for arranging their own shipping. Direct Auction staff will assist couriers with loading where possible.
5.2 All items not collected before the posted pickup deadline will be forfeited and become the property of Direct Auction, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed to in writing in advance. No refund will be issued for forfeited items.
6. Use, Resale, and Intellectual Property
By purchasing any item, the buyer acknowledges and agrees that:
6.1 Items are purchased for personal use.
6.2 If the buyer resells, rents, lends, gifts, or grants rights to any item, or allows it to be photographed, promoted, advertised, posted, or used in any production, medium, or forum, the buyer assumes full responsibility for complying with all applicable copyright, trademark, contractual, and royalty obligations.
6.3 The buyer assumes full responsibility and liability for any claim or infringement arising from the resale, reproduction, rental, or other use of any item.
6.4 Reproduction of certain items may be legally restricted, and the buyer accepts full responsibility for any liability arising from reproduction.
6.5 The buyer shall not use the name of any production or show in connection with an item without prior authorization from the rights holder, and assumes all liability arising from unauthorized use.
7. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
By purchasing any item, the buyer:
7.1 Accepts and assumes full responsibility for all risk of bodily injury, property damage, and any other hazards related in any way to the purchase, handling, transport, or use of the item(s).
7.2 Waives, releases, and forever discharges Direct Auction and its parent, subsidiary, related, and affiliated companies, together with their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the "Company"), from any and all claims of any nature, including without limitation claims for personal injury, death, property damage, loss, expense, or inconvenience. This release is binding on the buyer and on the buyer's heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, assigns, and successors, and is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law.
8. Acknowledgement
BY PURCHASING ANY ITEM IN THIS AUCTION, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, AND I AGREE TO ALL PROVISIONS OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
