Set of antique Burmese bronze opium weights, cast in traditional animal forms used throughout Myanmar for market trade and everyday weighing. The group includes Hintha (Hamsa) bird weights, each with stylized crests and rounded bases, along with a toad-form weight, all showing dark patina and hand-finished details.

These weights were historically used for measuring goods, currency units, and commodities in Burmese markets, not exclusively for opium. Their sculptural animal finials and geometric bases reflect regional casting traditions dating from the 18th to early 20th century, with variations in form indicating different local workshops.

Type: Burmese bronze opium weights
Forms: Hintha/Hamsa birds; toad
